Inez's Holiday Gift Guide 2021

Updated: Dec 18, 2021

Who else is excited for Christmas? Definitely me! There's something about it, the most wonderful time of the year. The air so crisp, smell of mulled wine and German sausages lingering in your nose, people ice-skating, Winter Wonderland and stunning Christmas lights along the street (That is if you are in London). Oops! It's been awhile since I've moved back to Malaysia. The Christmas decorations here are stunning as well, but it's not as heavily-celebrated as other Holidays. I guess a tropical and humid Christmas will have to do for me this year. The pandemic is really ruining all my holiday plans!.*Grunts loudly and dramatically*

Gifting might not be regularly practiced in Malaysia during Christmas, but we love a good gift guide to refer to regardless of whether it's gifting for Christmas or their birthday.

For the beauty enthusiast

Ok in all honestly, I have never tried the green and orange one, only tried the pink and purple one and they worked wonders for me! I have combination skin by the way. The scents are absolutely divine. I always keep a bottle of Mario Badescu facial spray with me because when I'm lazy or when my skin is acting up, I'll wash my face with cleanser and spray this right after. It gives my skin just the right amount of moisture, not too oily and not too dry.

Have you tried this gem? If you haven't, still buy it for your best friend! Because trust me, this is the best thing to bring along on a flight or trip. It's 100ml and can be used on your hair, face and body. I don't know how else to impress you anymore, oh wait I do, the scent! Smell this first at the store and if you don't like it, you can opt for the one without the floral fragrance here. They both cost the same!

I used to be a big fan of them, love their products, period. The reason I stopped using them was because they were getting bit too pricey for me, and for the price of this, I would be able to buy something else. So I think it would be a great gift for your friend! Cute packaging, lovely products that make your skin feel like a dream, Inez approves!

I have tried Bybi Beauty products and they live up to their name! This cruelty-free and vegan brand makes products that are super efficient. I have been using their cleansing oil since forever and even though it takes some time to remove my waterproof mascara, it does not sting at all because of its natural ingredients.

For the minimalist

Hooga has the most trendy (and most accessible) decor items in the market right now, and let me tell you, the whole shop is just a dream. This jewellery box helps keep your table top organised and also acts as a statement piece.

I don't know if the gift recipient cooks, but a beautiful (and functional) frying pan is a definite requirement for every house. Bonus point, it works on induction cookers and normal stoves as well!

I just recently bought this and I'm in love. This is a miracle cream for dry skin, during winter, in a refrigerator. Jokes aside, the scent is woody and aromatic, takes some getting used to, but once you do, it will be your favourite.

RMS Beauty is a minimalist brand which is vegan and cruelty-free (Yay!). A minimalist routine would mean the simpler, the better. This product comes in 6 gorgeous shades and is suitable to be used as a liquid blush or a cream eyeshadow, that shortens your beauty routine by IDK, 10 minutes?? (FYI, Inez spends 15 minutes on eyeshadow alone, still learning though!)

That's all for now, let me know if your friends and families loved your gift and hit me up if you need someone to share your holiday joy with, I would love to connect with you!
